What size cylinder do I  need?

For a family with 2 adults and 2 children we recommend a 220 litre cylinder. For a family with 2 adults and 4 children we recommend a 280-300 litre cylinder. For commercial requirements we suggest contacting us.

Can I purchase a 'Combo' now and use it as electric only?

Simply Yes.

Does your company make horizontal cylinders that can fit in my roof space?

Yes.

Can you make cylinders different sizes if I have a small cupboard or height problem?

We can make whatever size cylinder you require.

What if it is not possible to lift the cylinder to the height required for a Wetback Thermosyphon?

There is a compact (non electrical) valve available which will enhance the water flow, called a pulse flow valve. This will address this issue.

Can you make a horizontal cylinder with wetback?

Yes.

Can you make a horizontal cylinder with a solar coil?

Yes.

Can you make a cylinder to go outside,  as I don't have room inside the house?

Yes we can, and it can be clad in either coloursteel, aluminum or stainless steel.

Do I  need a building consent to put a solar collector on my roof?

Yes.

When should I  consider putting glycol antifreeze in my solar system?

When the outside temperature where you live remains at around freezing point for most of the day.

Can you  fit an extra element in my cylinder higher up as a domestic quick recovery?

Yes.

Do you manufacture the cylinders and panels here in New Zealand?

Yes, we manufacture both in our modern factory in Onehunga, Auckland.

If I install Solar, what electrical power savings can I expect to get?

The Solar Association have published literature indicating that you could expect between a 70-75% saving on the water heating side of your power bill.

Can your company install/commission my Solar system?

We can in and around Auckland. In other areas we do have registered installers who we work with to complete installations.

Can you  powder coat the Solar Collector frames to blend in with my roof?

Yes, if you provide the colour code/number or a sample, we can have the collector matched for you.
